Artist's Comments
The title to this has a lot of deep, suble meaning i'm not gonna go into here. For the obvious, though, black pearls are what make-up her headdress. And if anyone ever hears me say i'm going to put black pearls in a nest of black hair ever again, please please- stop me. 
Anyway, my first painting of 2008- this is Rasgoul and Rebecca. They are the orginal two that started my whole novel series, even though they don't actualy show up untill what is now book 4.
